My new OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Cleanser*. I guess I could say OZ Naturals in general – I know I rave about this brand, but I can’t say it enough. The products they have make my face feel and look (maybe up to interpretation) phenomenal. This cleanser in particular has a great texture to it, and makes my face feel super soft after using. I’ve noticed a more even complexion after using this for a few weeks now. I had some red spots near my nose and chin that are just about cleared up now. I am absolutely LOVING this stuff. If you’re curious about the other products of OZ Naturals that I’ve tried so far, check out my post OZ Naturals Bright Eye Gel & Ultra Ageless Eye Cream | Product Review. Also, keep an eye open for my reviews on their Super Youth Eye Gel and Body Soufflé ❤

Water in my new Live Infinitely fruit infuser water bottle*! So I’ve been wanting one of these for a while now. Since I’m a huge snacker, I thought the idea of fusing my water with fruit flavor would help cut down on snacking temptations. Okay, well maybe it didn’t work in that sense, but this water was still great. I tried my water infused with fresh sliced strawberries and next, I want to try pineapple! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated 🙂

Looking forward to…

NASHVILLE WITH THE GIRLSSSSS. Cannot wait. Post to follow.

Currently reading…

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I know this is sOoOoOoooOo 2006, but it’s never too late to read a good book. I’ve also never seen the movie, so there are no expectations or spoilers. I just started this and can’t wait to find out how the story unfolds. For a little background, I asked the google machine what it was about…

Google says, “Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) thought she had everything she wanted in life: a home, a husband and a successful career. Now newly divorced and facing a turning point, she finds that she is confused about what is important to her. Daring to step out of her comfort zone, Liz embarks on a quest of self-discovery that takes her to Italy, India and Bali.”

Pumpkin Must-Haves

Girls During Fall Like | Pumpkin | Basic Bitches

The fall season means I will begin the binge eating of pumpkin bread, muffins, pie, cupcakes, cookies, candies and more. I will hook myself to a pumpkin spice latte IV. Drinking = Pumpkin Beer. I will pick them, carve them, and roast their seeds. I’ll put one on my desk at work. Hell, maybe I’ll be a pumpkin for Halloween (but probably not because I’m almost always a vampire). While it’s important to taste test a variety of pumpkin treats, every year I have a few set essentials, that I will have day in and day out until I can have them no longer. Here are Fall ’15’s Favorites:

Pumpkin Spice Lattes
PSL Pumpkin Spice Latte Starbucks

DUH! Every basic white girl, and her basic BFF needs a good PSL like the lungs need oxygen. My favorite is Starbucks, obv. BUT, I will settle for Dunkin Donuts, or really anywhere. IDGAF as long as the pumpkin and espresso blend is in  my mouth. Okay, even without the espresso I’m good. Lots of times I opt for pumpkin coffee – cheaper, and I feel like I can binge drink it better than a latte. I love to keep some pumpkin spice creamer on hand at work, so I can get my yummy fix, mixed with mediocre office coffee. My favorite is Nestle Coffee Mate Pumpkin Spice – it’s the perfect amount of spice, and not too sugary tasting!
Pumpkin Spice Creamer
Or if you’re feeling like Martha Stewart, you could try to make your own! I found this recipe here:

Pumpkin Beers

This is where shit gets good. Pumpkin beer. Some hate it, some love it. I’m part of the latter group, myself. Pumpkin beer is like the PSL’s wild and crazy step sister. Want to have some sloppy fun, and still live up to your basic bitch standards? Try ordering one of these next time you’re out!

Pumpkin Yogurt

This one might seem a little strange, but I am obsessed. I’ve been on a Chobani kick for the last few months and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. So, I started simple, with Chobani Pumpkin Greek Yogurt. BOMB. Great pumpkin flavor, with just a little bit of “spice” to it.

Then I look it up a notch. Chobani Flips changed my life. I started off having these delicious morning delicacies a few months ago, and have been addicted to the Key Lime Pie and Dark Chocolate & Coconut flavors. I was very pleased to find out that the pumpkin version was just as good. Classic pumpkin yogurt with biscotti pieces, walnuts and pumpkin seeds.

Check Chobani out on twitter if you want to get reviews on different flavors…Just search the hashtag #BreakYouMake or check out the site 🙂

Ponchos. The oversized sweaters, awesome big sis. Ridiculously loose, long and flowy. Having a fat day? This is what you want. Pair with leggings, riding boots and for maximum comfort a big scarf. I got mine from Marshall’s and absolutely love it. Here are two similar options from Forever21 and American Eagle:Read More »

Thai Peanut Zoodles | Recipes

Healthy Recipes: Thai Peanut Zoodles

One of the millions of amazing things that I will miss about summer is the farmer’s market. Every Tuesday in downtown Syracuse local farmers and vendors set up shop to sell super fresh produce. There are even a few cool tents selling things like flowers, olive oil, goat cheese, & cheese stuffed pepperoni (YAAASS). Another cool booth to check out is one that does cooking demos. I wasn’t able to sit through the demo, but I got a little recipe card and sample of Thai Peanut Zoodles.

First thought…what the fuck’s a zoodle? Read More »

Starbucks Sunday

Okay, you got me…It’s Monday. I had so much going on this weekend, and totally forgot Starbucks Sunday. It turned into lounge in the pool and drink margarita’s Sunday. I would imagine you can understand how I forgot 🙂

Anyways, if you’ve known me for more than 5 minutes, then you know that I am struggling with a serious Starbucks addiction. I been fighting this battle since my early teenage years, and don’t see an end in sight.Read More »
